Smartphones overtaking computers in 2012
New research from Kaspersky Lab has shown that the popularity of desktop computers in the UK has taken a hit following the recent influx of smartphones. The survey found that 64 per cent of respondents owned a desktop computer, compared with 93 per cent who owned a smartphone. Despite this, however, few Brits have installed security software onto their devices. Kaspersky Lab's findings found their way onto T3.com, a gadget and consumer technology news site.Coverage
